quick introduction
Hello everyone,I'm shivajiva and I have been using Gambas for years, started when I swapped my daily driver to Linux, and needed a RAD to duplicate a VS project I had created, for a GUI for an I2C to Serial device that I use as part of my job.
There's no question Gambas deserves to be in the RAD catagory of applications available on Linux. I also used gambas to create amongst other things, a tray application for vbox that's purely right click menu based, for starting, saving, resetting and stopping vm's. It uses the icon set from the community edition of virtualbox, to deliver a proffesional and functional interface, that uses no desktop realestate. Handy on a widescreen monitor with vertical taskbar setup.

Happy coding, see you around!

Thanks for the welcome, don't think I can hold a candle up to your collective skills but if it's an area I have strong knowledge of I'll be offering my thoughts
