Ditched Windows for Linux 10 years ago, never regretted it. Except for one thing : the rapid interface development tool that Access + VBA offered to address databases. Went some way with wxWidgets (using C++ and libpq) and, in another attempt, developed my own javascript libraries to create web interfaces.

Heard recently (!) about Gambas and decided to give it a try. First tests look promising. Thanks to the fine team behind the project!

Welcome to Gambas One!

Any questions you have please ask. There plenty of knowledgeable members here to help out where possible.

The forum's editor can be a little overwelming in it's ability for those using it for the first time. If you haven't visited it yet, there's a tutorial section (Tutorials - Website and forum) that gives tips for using the forum's editor.

Hopefully we'll get to see you around here on a regular basis.
