I'm going to say a few words about a project I started on the subject of documenting Gambas. GaP-BG, stands for "Gambas Programming Beginner's Guide" and is intended to be a series of short books on this subject. Since this is a long run shot, I'm very much aware that it might well become something that exceeds my current resources. I still hold to it, anyway. I like the idea, it's something that will be useful for whatever period of time and it is doable, but "in small chunks". For now, there is only the first book, "<COLOR color="#000080">GaP-BG, Book One: The First Steps</COLOR>". So, from this perspective, I am asking you to come up with some ideas. I already have some, but discussing on the project's idea, will surely drive in new ideas, which, afterall, is all about in this stage of the project: putting together some ideas and building around them. While at this point the idea revolves around books, my dream is to build something that is backed up by a Gambas App, to provide Q&A based on something that looks very close to Cogier's project "<COLOR color="#000080">Gambas Classes</COLOR>". I found that App <COLOR color="#FF0000">brilliant</COLOR> since the information is way too scattered and takes an enormous amount of time to find something usable. With this App, you cut down the amount of time required to find something, up to at least 10 times, which is very much SOMETHING! I already made the book available in another post so I'll only place the link here: GaP-BG, Book One: The First Steps I hope you like the idea of the project and help me move forward with it. I already have some ideas for the next book: GaP-BG, Book Two. DirLister: Lines of Code I'm going to write about what I did in DirLister using the approach of "Chain of Events". So I'll take the chain of events starting from the interface aspect and point to the way the User actions are turned into something that happens "behind the scenes", through lines of code. Hence the name: "Lines of Code". I will also talk about designing an App, since this is the starting point: the design. That's about all for now! I'll come back on this, as soon as I have something available! Have a great day!

The book is also available on my account on Scribd, also on my Linux FB group. With this second release, I guess the "Documentation" part has come to an end.
The next release, will be about coding in Gambas. See last chapter in Book Two. If anyone knows about some other resources, I'll be glad to add those in a revision of the book.
Enjoy it!
