Did anyone read the announcement with my email address I posted prior to the new site preview in case anyone had problems? Did anyone read my migration announcement? It had my email address in it too.

Any emails that hit my inbox was responded to. Not sure why some emails were not reaching me.

I know PJ has my email address because of his access problem on the old forum, and I did receive his email asking for help.

As early as late Monday night (my time) I received the first email asking to reset their password. My email address was on the front page since very early Monday morning. I know some people were receiving emails on Monday night because a few spammers had created accounts - you can only do that by clicking on a verify email link.

5 hours into the migration (late Sunday night) is when I realized emails were not being sent out. I created an external email service with my registrar to handle Gambas One' email.

12 hours in (early Monday morning), emails still not being delivered, but emails going through the external mail server was. That's when I put my email address on the front page reminding members to email if resetting their password fails.

24 hours in (Monday evening), after a call to support, our new server started sending emails but still not being delivered.

36 hours in (early Tuesday morning), I was still troubleshooting emails. Updated front page with better instructions and new email address graphics to make the email address even easier to see.

48 hours in (Tuesday evening), email problem identified and work to fix the problem started. Updated the front page to make the instructions even easier to understand.

60 hours in (early Wednesday morning), problem resolved and emails were being delivered again.

Yes I did, but I wanted to do things the "normal" way.

I've set my password to what it originally was and now my computer logs in but my mobile phone says incorrect password.
(I checked, both PC and phone use the same password)

That's weird since both phone and desktop uses the same db, therefore the same user and password. I just tried it from my phone and logged right in. Did you try clearing the cache/cookies on the phone?

I've looked at the logs. In 1hr 20 minutes you made 18 failed logins from 2 different IP's. The system may have seen that as a brute force hacking attack and responded accordingly by blocking any login attempt.

I've just now receive an email from BruceSteers dated Tuesday (23).

This whole time I've been able to receive email from the system, but not from some members. Those emails are addressed to other xxxxxx@gambas.one and not to forumadmin. I'm wondering if the incoming email server is/was puking on emails not addressed to forumadmin and is finally able to start figuring out where those emails are supposed to be going. I also wonder if this means all those outgoing emails that never showed up will start being delivered.

I can't believe it if this works now. I  couldn't access the page the whole time .
Then I had an error in my password and to make matters worse, I couldn't find the send button here.

But I think I've got it now.
However, a lot has already happened here.
I've completely lost track.

I've completely lost track.

A little help could be:
1. Click on Forum in top menu
2. Click on (Topic with unread posts)

screen.png

In my case that where some of the last posts on the old forum and all new on this forum.
Easy read up.

Thanks, I already found that. And I can see that it's broken down in great detail, but I still need a little more time.
Please be patient ;D
