Gambas won't open on Linux Mint 20
Just grasping at straws here.I have a working Gambas program on the Latest Linux Mint version (22.3) that I wanted to run on my wife's laptop which is running Linux Mint 20 (she hates changes so I try to avoid them). This program interfaces with a MySQL db residing on a 3rd Linux Mint PC (version 22.3) I need both laptops to play nice with the MySQL db.
I had been running a handful of 4 year old Gambas programs on my wife's laptop without any issues.
Moving the entire project directory to the old LM laptop almost worked except for a gb.highlight error. Totally understandable given the version difference.
So, I attempted to load in the latest version of Gambas after a series of command line instructions to purge the old version.
Well now no matter what I do Gambas will not even launch. I tried command line installs, and Package Manager installs and still nothing happens when I try to launch Gambas.
Given the number of individual 'version upgrades' Linux Mint requires to get to LM 22.3 it is very likely I'll mess up this laptop so that nothing works.
What was once quite easy, is now becoming impossible with a 77 y/o brain. Don't laugh, it might just happen to you.

2 questions:
What gambas do you run on Linux Mint 22
What gambas do you run on Linux Mint 20
And with what gambas I mean:
1. From what source -> Open Synaptic Package Manager and click Settings -> Repositories to find the sources where software is pulled from (a screenshot might help)
2. What version of Gambas so, 3.18.0 or 3.21.3 etc
Your answer will determine the solution I'll be able to provide, as this is a minor something.
Maybe you messed it up a bit more, so some extra hurdles might be needed, but it should be easily solved.
