Tooltip text missing

bill-lancaster is in the usergroup ‘Regular’
 Don't know when this started.  I upgraded to Gambas 3.11.4 and  Kubuntu 18.04 abaout 4 weeks ago.
Any ideas?

Wouldn't that be related to the distribution environment?
Here under Mint 18,2 the "Tooltip" works well under Gambas3-3.11.4
