Somehow I've lost the console panel that used to be show at the bottom of the class form in the IDE.
F11 used to display it but now it displays a separate panel for the console.
I wonder what I did?

Sounds like you have just un-docked it.

Click F11 to show the un-docked console, then click on the un-dock button to re-dock it.
