Hi All,
Is there a way around the max form height limit which seems to be 4096 px? I have a form that does have a lot going on but mostly panels that will become visible/invisible depending on user input. I don't need the entire 4096 px area or more when the app is running, just while I'm building it…it just makes it easier if I can see everything I'm working on in the IDE. Obviously I should rethink the design of this app but I have already put a lot of work into it before I discovered the max height…so I'm not very happy right now   I'm guessing there is a limit to form height and there's no way around it.

Some window managers do not allow a window larger than the screen. i doubt there is a limit in gambas (but maybe), It's probably a WM limitation.
There is no logical point in making a window larger than the screen.
Is your screen larger than 4096px high?

If not the best bet would be to make your main window contain a ScrollView and place everything inside that. then window size can be anything.

I am running Linux Mint Cinnamon and can make the form taller than the screen height with Gambas. I agree with Bruce that it probably depends on your window manager. Wayland could be fun!

I woke up this morning and the first thing that popped into my head was "scrollview"! I'll try that sometime today and see if that works.
