Time for an update on the status of GambOS.

Last Wednesday (25th) GambOS Build 24 was released to contributor team for testing. It aimed at fixing some issue with sound being mono only. First results reported a good working sound and as a side effect a non working hdmi also working  

While working on writing more content for Gambas Book 1, one of the contributors has been reporting back on typo's in variable names and such. I've written a complete second manner of distributing and running guide test packages, separate from those that can be installed from GambOS Software Center. For this I modified GambOS Learning Center to be able to run in a mode for reviewing installed testing guides, next to the public available guides, so test team can do it's job, even when it goes public   .

This, of course led to a Gambas Learning Center update and while at it GambOS Dashboard and GambOS Software Center both had an update as well. All distributions of GambOS application are at least in Alpha status now.

An other contributor has been checking the currently existing snippets in Gambas Learning Center and providing, next to some better English sentences,  some new snippets as well.

In the contributor section I posted a roadmap to a first public release. It has 15 points, and as soon as all are checked the first public GambOS iso will be created. The point that is most work ATM is guide writing, most other is created and in testing/proofreading status.

This week (Wednesday I believe) I published test guide version 0.0.3 (the first 4 chapters of book 1, including corrections reported) and today I published test guide version 0.0.4 (the first five chapter of book 1, including corrections reported). The grand total of chapters for book 1 will be 7, so I'm slowly getting there, but it's a lot of work, writing, coding, screenshot all, integrate code into guide, integrate screenshot into guide, redo stuff now and then, integrate correction into text and so on, and so on (it's all in html)
