Since the last progress update build 18 has been tested on a real system and I had some feedback. Turned out that installing GambOS on a real system was a bit different than on a virtual machine, who would have ever suspected that.. :shock:

Anyway, this led to GambOS build 19. I adapted the preseed options to leave some more space to get the job done. And it got the job done. Build 19 was reported being installed on real hardware with great success. Meanwhile I had another report of an install of GambOS on a real system. Still have to look into that with greater detail. All I can hope for now is one of the testers will test running GambOS on VirtualBox (I run QEMU/KVM) to see what happens there. And then the installing part should be tested for most part and I can go to work with the feedback.

Meanwhile I started coding GambOS Learning Center, to have at least some basic help and research info in there and maybe some start of a gambas guide. I have installed a first version and it will be in next GambOS build as part of panel and menu, but also launchable from GambOS Dashboard. See screenshot below.

So, a next build will probably be less focused on the preseeding part of GambOS and more on completing the pre-installed desktop and it's applications.
