Hi GB.
This will be a Me & My Computer problem
[System]
Distribution=Linux Mint 22.3 (Zena)
Architecture=x86_64
Cores=12
Memory=15913M
iso = gambos-2.0-build-26-bookworm-mate-amd64
I get this VMware error since my last system rebuild when I add New, use the Gambas Os iso file and then try to start the VM.
I must have 'fat-fingered' a setting somewhere but can't seem to find what I've done wrong.... any ideas of where to look ?
Error:
VirtualBox can't enable the AMD-V extension. Please disable the KVM kernel extension, recompile your kernel and reboot (VERR_SVM_IN_USE).
Cheers - Quin.

Two vm solutions are competing for the kernel seems to be the issue. You'll need to disable the kvm modules.
This article should explain and solve the matter.
Let me know if it worked

I had a error after converting VMware of windows 11 to KVM, I had to remove all the VMware drivers and software to elimate the error
Fortunately for me the virtual of windows would start and run … but then a window with a VMware error message came up.
